Double Concave Friction Pendulum System

The demonstration testing was held at 1:00 PM EST (18:00 GMT) on Friday, December 3rd, 2004, with a brief presentation, followed by a number of tests with one-directional and tri-directional seismic excitation.

A presentation was given by Daniel Fenz, a masters student at UB and a researcher for this project. Dan will provide a short introduction to the demonstration and then go into the testing of the bearing. Two videos will be played for each test, one showing the full structure and the other showing a close-up of the bearing.
